What it actually does well

The setup flow is the differentiator. You write a sentence describing the agent’s job, pick a trigger (email arrives, calendar event, webhook fires, schedule), and Lindy walks you through the integrations it needs. For straightforward jobs — meeting prep, lead qualification, support triage, content drafting — you can have a working agent in under thirty minutes.

The integration library is genuinely deep. Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, Notion, Salesforce, Airtable, plus a long tail of less-obvious ones. And because Lindy uses LLMs to interpret messy inputs, you don’t need clean structured data going in.

Where it gets awkward

Pricing climbs steeply once you graduate from light usage. The free tier is generous enough to validate use cases, but committed daily workflows will push you into paid territory quickly, and the per-task economics aren’t always favourable compared to building the same thing in code.

Debugging more complex agent chains can also frustrate. When a multi-step agent goes off the rails, the logs help, but you’re still partly reverse-engineering what the LLM decided to do. This is true of every agent platform, but worth flagging.

How it compares

Versus Zapier and Make.com, Lindy wins on AI-native workflows where the agent needs to interpret content rather than route structured data. Zapier is still better when you know exactly what data needs to go where.
